INDIANAPOLIS - Hardin-Simmons' senior golfer Kristi Martin has qualified for the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship as an individual and will compete in the 72-hole tournament May 8-11 at the Mission Inn Resort and Club at Howey In the Hills, Fla.

Martin is one of top individuals in the nation, ranking No. 19 in the nation and No. 4 in the region with an 81.2 stroke average. She ranks eighth nationally in par three scoring and fourth nationally in par five scoring.

It will be the third time Martin has played in the NCAA Championships. The Cowgirl team qualified her freshman and junior seasons.

She has five tournament wins (the top division III scorer) on the season. She was also an academic All-ASC performer.
