BELTON, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's golf team had a runner-up finish for the second straight tournament as the Cowgirls shot a 338-344-682 at the Mary Hardin-Baylor Fall Invitational at the Wildflower Country Club.

Kristi Martin led the way like she has all season with a fifth place finish. She shot 79-84-163. Whitney Mitchell (85-85-170), Chandra Hayes (85-89-174), Megan Bennett (89-86-175) and Andra Boxberger (92-92-184) rounded out the Cowgirl lineup. Andrea Conley shot 83-88-171, playing as an individual.

Southwestern won the tournament with a two-round 661. Tyler Junior College, Oklahoma Baptist and Mary Hardin-Baylor rounded out the top five. Kristen Davenport won the medalist race with a 158.

The tournament wraps up the fall slate for HSU.
