SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's golf team shot a second round 338 and moved up to third place at the Alamo City Invitational, Tuesday afternoon in San Antonio.

The Cowgirls moved past McMurry to third after being in fourth place after the first round. HSU had a two round total of 682. Southwestern University won the title with rounds of 341 and 332 for a 673. UT-Brownsville was second with a 678.

Three Cowgirls finished in the top 10 of the tournament. Freshman Ashley Luecke finished with a 84-77-161 to place fourth overall. Caitlin Raymond and Whitney Mitchell placed seventh and ninth respectively with 171 and 172 totals. Raymond shot 85-86 and Mitchell had a pair of 86's.

Heather Hambrick shot 93-89-182 and DeLane Griffith had rounds of 89 and 94. Sara Parker shot 102 and 107 playing as a medalist.

The tournament concludes the Cowgirls' fall season.
