Cowgirls Are In Fourth

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's golf team is in fourth place at the Alamo City Invitational Golf Tournament, which is being hosted by Trinity University

The Cowgirls were led by Ashley Luecke who shot a 84. Caitlin Raymond fired an 85 and Whitney Mitchell an 86. All three are in the top 10 of the medalist race. DeLane Griffith shot 89 and Heather Hambrick had a 93 for the Cowgirls. Sara Parker shot 102 playing as a medalist for the Cowgirls.

UT-Brownsville leads the tournament with a 334. McMurry and Southwestern are tied for second with a 341 and the Cowgirls are three strokes back of those two with a 344.

Marissa Mauldin of Southwestern leads the individual race with a 78.

The tournament will conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday.
