GLEN ROSE, Texas - Kristi Martin fired her second-straight 77 and the Hardin-Simmons' women's golf team finished in second place in the college division of the Tarleton State Coca-Cola Dinosaur Classic in Glen Rose on Tuesday.

Martin led the Cowgirls in the tournament with a two-day 154 which gave her a ninth place overall finish. Chandra Hayes firsed a career-best 78 on Tuesday and finished 84-78-162. Salem Mitchell (77-92-169), Andra Boxberger (84-88-172) and Megan Bennett (95-92-187) rounded out the Cowgirl lineup.

The Cowgirls shot 322-335-657 as a team and finished second among the non-Division II teams in the tournament. Tarleton State won the overall event with a 610 and Mary Hardin-Baylor won the College Division with a 626.

Meredith Easley won the individual title with a 72-70-142.

Jessica Travis (89-88-177) and Erin Frampton (93-102-195) competed as individuals for the Cowgirls.
