HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - Hardin-Simmons' senior golfer Kristi Martin closed her career with the Cowgirls by shooting an 82 in the final round of the Division III Women's Golf Championship and finished in a tie for 18th place, earning her honorable mention All-American honors at the Mission Inn Golf and Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. Martin finished the four-round tournament with scores of 83-82-78-82 for a total of 325. Katie Dick of Methodist won the tournament with a score of four-over par 296 to lead Methodist to the team title. Martin played in three NCAA Championships in her career and will go down as one of the most decorated players in school history. She will graduate on Saturday. |
