SALADO, Texas - Complete Release in PDF Format Hardin-Simmons' women's golf team finished in fifth place the Mary Hardin-Baylor Spring Invitational, Tuesday afternoon at the Mill Creek Golf Club in Salado. The Cowgirls shot a 374 after a 373 on Monday to finish at 747. HSU finished 54 shots behind champion Mary Hardin-Baylor. Christi Williams won the medalist title. HSU was led by Whitney Mitchell shot 87-88-175 to pace the Cowgirls. Chandra Hayes shot a 94-85-179 and Kristi Martin shot 87-97--184. DeLane Griffith and Lauren Schaub rounded out the lineup with 106-104 -210 and 105-107-212. HSU will play in the Jekyll Island Invitational on March 23-25. |
