ATLANTA - Hardin-Simmons' women's basketball team was named to the Women¹s Basketball Coaches Association Academic top 25 for the 10th straight year. The Cowgirls come in at No. 14 this year with a 3.429 team grade point average. The Cowgirls have finished everywhere from second to 18th in the last 10 rankings. Hardin-Simmons was the highest ranked team of teams that advanced to at least the Swwt 16 a year ago. The Cowgirls will begin practice Oct. 15 trying to build on a 27-3 Elite Eight season a year ago.
