For the seventh time in eight years the Hardin-Simmons' women's basketball team has advanced to the NCAA Sectional Round. The Cowgirls have advanced to the Elite Eight two times and are still looking for their first trip to the NCAA Final Four. To do that the Cowgirls will have to beat three familiar foes. The first game will be against Pacific Lutheran in Tacoma, Wash. at 10 p.m. (CST) on Friday night. If the Cowgirls advance, they would play the winner of the UW-Stout and Randolph-Macon for a ticket to the Final Four on Saturday night at 9 p.m. (CST). All remaining games will be broadcast on KAGT 90.5 FM in Abilene and can be heard on the Internet. |
