ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons women's basketball team defeated Concordia 87-61 in American Southwest Conference action Saturday at Mabee Complex.

Senior KraTaura Buckner led the team with 22 points while senior Kendra Anderson led with 11 rebounds on senior day and the last home game of the regular season.

Tabatha Callaway and Danielle Barnett led the Tornados with 13 points each.

HSU moved to 22-0 overall and 12-0 in ASC play while Concordia dropped to 11-11 overall and 6-6 in conference action.

The Cowgirls will be back in action Thursday in Alpine, Texas as they take on Sul Ross at 5:30 p.m.
