Cowgirls Return Home

The fourth-ranked Hardin-Simmons Cowgirls (9-0, 1-0) will return home for a pair of games with American Southwest Conference East Division foes Louisiana College (4-3) and Mississippi College (8-1). Both games will take place at the Mabee Complex and it will be the first home games of 2003 at the Complex. Game times are slated for 5:30 on Thursday and 1 p.m. on Saturday.

A Look At Louisiana College

The Wildcats come into the game with a 4-3 mark and are 0-2 on the road. They are led by Patrece Carter, who averages 21.9 points per game. The Lady Wildcats broke a three-game losing streak with a 74-60 win over Concordia over the weekend. The two teams did not play last season after the Cowgirls could not get on the road following an ice and snow storm in Abilene.

Mississippi College At A Glance

Mississippi College is off to one of its better starts at 8-1. They are led by Lacy Palomarez's 20.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. The Cowgirls defeated the Lady Choctaws, 68-63, in Clinton last season.
