RICHARDSON, Texas - Senior forward Kendra Anderson moved into fourth-place on the Hardin-Simmons career scoring list (1,367 points) with back-to-back 27-point performances in wins at East Texas Baptist (66-50, Jan. 2) and LeTourneau (89-68, Jan. 4) to earn American Southwest Conference West Division Player of the Week honors.

Anderson finished the two-game swing shooting 64 percent (21-of-33) from the floor and 75 percent (12-of-16) at the line, totaling 18 rebounds and 7 steals. Her play helped the No. 5-ranked Cowgirls move to 9-0 for the season.

It was the fifth time in her career the two-time ASC West Player of the Year has won the award.
