ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons moved to 9-0 on the season with an 89-68 win over LeTourneau Saturday in the Solheim Center in Longview.

The Cowgirls were led by the power game of Kendra Anderson and Laura Ricci who both had double-doubles. Anderson had 27 points and 10 rebounds and Ricci had 17 points and 10 boards. Anderson moved past Shanna Briggs into fourth-place on the career scoring list.

HSU forced 26 turnovers in the game and held LeTourneau's best player Sara Vestfalls to two points in the second half.

The win moved the Cowgirls to 9-0 on the season. They return home to play Louisiana College on Thursday at the Mabee Complex.
