Cowgirls Move To 19-0

KERRVILLE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' second-ranked women's basketball team moved to 19-0 with an 83-44 win over Schreiner University, Thursday evening in Kerrville in American Southwest Conference action.

HSU led 44-19 and were never threatened by the Mountaineers, who fell to 0-19 on the season.

Terri Robinson and Sarah Allen each scored 16 points to lead the Cowgirls. All-American Kendra Anderson had 14 points and 12 rebounds and five assists in 26 minutes. It was her eighth double-double of the season. Laura Ricci chipped in with 13 points.

The Cowgirls are now 8-0 in conference action, while the Mountaineers feel to 0-8. Melanie Ledesma led Schreiner with 11 points.
