Joins the Cowgirls after running track at UT-San Antonio for three years. She will have two years of eligibility and is expected to jump right into the starting lineup for the Cowgirls. Prior To HSU: Spent three seasons on the track team at UTSA. She was an all-conference selection, finishing second in the heptathlon as a junior. She place third as a sophomore in the conference meet and fourth as a freshman. Was a USA Track and Field Junior All-American. High school: Was a standout in track, cross country and basketball at Jim Ned. She was named the 1A-2A-3A girls athlete of the year by the Texas Girls Coaches Association. Was an academic all-state selection in track, cross country and basketball. Was all-state in track and cross country. Personal: Daughter of Ron and Gwen Allen. Has a brother, Blake and a sister, Haylee. Haylee also plays for the Cowgirls. Business Education major. Born Feb. 5, 1986. Her mother Gwen played basketball at HSU.
