ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' tennis teams showed well at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Southwest Region Championship that HSU hosted over the weekend.

Ryan Waters advanced to the flight A semifinals in men's singles, before falling. Todd Henington advanced to the semifinals of Flight B singles, before falling.

Lisa Mertz dropped a tough match in the semifinals. Tracy Henington advanced to the Flight A quarterfinals before falling.

Wade Morgan teamed with Waters in the flight A doubles and fell 9-8 to Bobby Cocanougher and Cory Kowal of Trinity in the finals.

Ramon Aguirre and Logan Neal won the flight B doubles with an 8-6 win over Matthew Allen and Travis Conn of Texas Lutheran.

In flight A doubles Brittany Brazzell and Tracy Henington and Bria Camarillo and Mertz both lost in the semifinals.
