ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons men's tennis team will open its fall season with a 10 a.m. match with Midwestern State, Saturday at the Streich Tennis Center.

The Cowboys are led by All-American Mitch Aston, who was the ASC Player of the year, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2002. The Cowboys won the ASC title last season and posted a 16-7 overall record.

Also returning for the Cowboys are Mark Plowman, Doug Eckstein, Brad Grace, Carl Langerhans, John Roaten, Reed Stafford and Colby Walker.
