May 10, 2005 INDIANAPOLIS - Hardin-Simmons' doubles team of David Wu and Brad Grace earned an invitation to the NCAA Doubles Championship, which will be held May 21-23 at the University of California - Santa Cruz. The Cowboy duo goes into the NCAA Tournament with a 26-3 mark and has only lost one match to a division III team. Wu and Grace will face Michael Matvits and Julian Seelan (31-4) of Kalamazoo College in Michigan. Wu is a junior out of Abilene Wylie and was the ASC Player of the Year. Grace was an All-ASC performer and is a senior from Victoria. Dan Uyar and Paul Bristow of Mary Washington College took the doubles title last season and Brisow is back with a new partner. |
