RICHARDSON, Texas - Hardin-Simmons senior tennis player Ryan Waters was named the American Southwest Conference West Division player of the year for the second straight year in voting done by the league's coaches.

Waters was also named first-team All-ASC and first-team All-ASC West Division for the third time in his career. Wade Morgan was also named first-team All-ASC and All-ASC West Division.

Freshman Andy Cariens, who did not lose a set in singles or a doubles match in West Division play, was named second team all-ASC West Division. Justin Lockaby was named honorable mention.

The Cowboys won the ASC West Division for the ninth straight year this season. HSU finished its season with a record of 12-7 overall and 7-0 in ASC West action.
