ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team extended its American Southwest Conference winning streak to 39 with a 6-1 win over Schreiner and a 7-0 win over crosstown rival McMurry, Friday at the Streich Tennis Center.

The Cowboys No. 1 doubles team of David Wu and Brad Grace, who are among the best in the nation, moved to 22-2 on the year in doubles. The Cowboys did not drop a set against McMurry and won all but one match against Schreiner.

HSU is now 12-4 on the year and 5-0 in ASC play. They play at Mary Hardin-Baylor and Howard Payne on Saturday. With wins on Saturday the Cowboys will earn the right to host the ASC Championships for the men and women next weekend.
