SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team had mixed results at the Trinity Quad Tournament in San Antonio. Brad Grace and David Wu placed third and seventh respectively in the flight one singles. Grace won his opening match 6-3, 6-2, before bowing out 6-1, 6-2 to John Matthews of Trinity. Roy Lehman and Wes Kidd placed fifth and sixth in flight two singles. Wade Morgan and Chris Palmatier placed fourth and sixth in flight three singles. Tanner Reed placed fifth in flight four. Joel McDowell and Reed Stafford placed fourth and sixth in flight five. The No. 1 doubles team of David Wu and Brad Grace won the flight one doubles on a default from Jim Shaughnessy and Chad Waryas of Trinity. Kidd and Matt Tolley placed fifth in flight one. Lehman and Morgan placed second in flight two doubles and Palmatier and Stafford placed seventh. |
