TYLER, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team went 2-1 at the UT-Tyler Invitational, defeating Howard Payne 7-0, Southwestern 6-1 and losing to UT-Tyler, 5-2, Saturday afternoon in the season-openers in Tyler.

Brad Grace, Roy Lehman and Wes Kidd each went undefeated in singles action. David Wu and Grace went 2-1 in doubles.

The Cowboys will play in the ACU Wildcat Open next weekend.
