ABILENE, Texas - The HSU men and women's tennis teams will travel this weekend to take on Howard Payne and Mary-Hardin Baylor in two ASC match-ups.

The Cowboys and Cowgirls will first take on Howard Payne in Brownwood at 8 a.m. Saturday morning. The Yellow Jackets men and women's team are both 2-0 in ASC play.

Then later that afternoon, HSU will travel to Belton to take on University of Mary-Hardin Baylor at 3 p.m. Both men and women's teams are 1-0 in ASC play.

The Cowboys are 3-0 in ASC play and 9-3 overall after a win from Sul Ross last weekend. HSU looks to dominate in doubles play with Mitch Aston and Mark Plowman at No.1 doubles and Brad Grace and David Wu at No.2. Both teams are regionally ranked.

The Cowgirls look to improve their record of 3-0 in ASC play and 9-4 overall. The women are looking to dominate in doubles and finish the match with strong singles play. The Cowgirls are lead by junior Nancy Chandler who is ranked No.18 in the region.

After completing this weekends trip, HSU will return to action April 4th when they will travel to San Antonio to take on Trinity University at 2 p.m.
