Final Stats

ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team dropped a pair of matches against East Central (7-2) and Incarnate Word (6-1) on Saturday at the Streich Tennis Center.

Against East Central Ryan Waters was the only Cowboy to win a singles match with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Victor Rios at No. 3. Tanner Reed and Wade Morgan won 8-4 at No. 2 doubles. The Cowboys lost three three-set matches in singles play.

Waters picked up the Cowboys only win on the day. He won 6-3, 6-3 at No. 4 singles over Mike Hastings. Three matches were unfinished win the dual was completed.

HSU now 5-5 on the year will play at Texas Lutheran on Friday in Seguin.
