WITCHITA FALLS, Texas - The Cowboys tennis team lost there first match of the season this past weekend. HSU traveled to Midwestern State University on Saturday for match-ups with MSU and UTD.

HSU was scheduled to play MSU at 11:00a.m but due to wet and cold weather, the match was postponed for three hours. UTD decided against the rescheduling and did not play. Even after the delays and canceled match, HSU came out ready to play.

With lots of intensity the Cowboys picked up the lead with the doubles wins from Brad Grace and David Wu, along with Justin Narvid and Bryce Hicks. As the singles began the intensity and drive increased. Things looked good for HSU after hard fought matches from Justin Narvid and David Wu, both bringing in wins for HSU. Yet, that was the last of the wins for HSU as they lost 5-4.

The Cowboys will be in action again this Tuesday, March 4th when they host cross-town rivals McMurry at 1:00p.m at the HSU courts.
