ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's tennis team opened its season with a pair of dominating wins in action at the Streich Tennis Center and Fairway Oaks Country Club.

The Cowboys dominated Western New Mexico, 8-1, and followed it up with a win by the same score over Dallas Baptist.

HSU comes into the spring ranked eighth in the region and David Wu is also eighth as an individual in the West region and 25th nationally. Brad Grace comes in 25th in the region and they rank 13th as a doubles team.

HSU is next in action on Feb. 20th when it hosts Sul Ross State and plays at McMurry to open ASC play.
