ABILENE, Texas - Two Hardin-Simmons men's soccer player have been named to the ESPN the Magazine/College Sports Information Director's of American College Division Academic All-District VI First Team as voted on by the sports information director's in the district.

Senior Nick Sager made the team as a forward. He has a 3.78 GPA as a biology/pre-med major. He is second on the team with eight goals. Junior midfielder Ryan Flanigan made the team as a midfielder. He has a 3.48 GPA in Chemisty.

District VI in CoSIDA includes teams from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, Louisiana and Mississippi. The college division includes players from NAIA, NCAA Division II and NCAA Division III.

All first-team selections go on the national ballot which has the winners from all eight districts. The winner of that vote earns All-American honors.
