RICHARDSON, Texas - Sophomore forward Chris Carroll was tabbed American Southwest Conference West Division Offensive player of the week on Tuesday.

Carroll kept the Cowboys within striking distance of the division lead scoring three goals in HSU's road wins vs. Concordia-Austin and Mary Hardin-Baylor this past weekend. Carroll pushed two goals across in the 13-0 win over CUA, then nailed the game-winner in a 2-1 win against Mary Hardin-Baylor.

The Cowboys, 3-1-1 in ASC action and 6-4-1 overall, will first play Schreiner Friday at 4 p.m. in Kerrville, Texas, then HSU takes on Texas Lutheran Saturday at 4 p.m. in Seguin, Texas.
