PINEVILLE, La. - Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team remained in the hunt for the American Southwest Conference Championship with a 5-0 win over Louisiana College, Saturday in Pineville. Kyle Rampy put the Cowboys on the board in the 19th minute. Nick Sager and Daniel Arnold scored two minutes apart to give the Cowboys a 3-0 lead at halftime. Rampy and Calvin Key, the Cowboys lone seniors, scored goals in the second half. Travis Boubel and Jordan Ivey split the game in goal. HSU improved to 9-6-2 overall and 7-4-1 in ASC play. HSU plays at McMurry on Oct. 30. |
