ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Austin College in American Southwest Conference action at Shelton Stadium on Friday afternoon. The Kangaroos scored on a set play off of an indirect kick in the 49th minute. John Davenport found Kyle Borg for the goal. Austin College outshot the Cowboys 19-9. HSU goalkeeper Ryan Shaughnessy had 11 saves, but did not have a chance on the goal. The Cowboys fell to 7-5-2 overall and 5-3-1 in ASC play. Austin College improved to 8-3-2, 6-1-1-. HSU will host Ozarks on Saturday at 3 p.m. |
