Oct. 14, 2006 PINEVILLE, La. - Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team continued its push toward a berth in the American Southwest Conference tournament to defend its conference title, with a 2-0 road win over Louisiana College, Saturday afternoon in Pineville. The Cowboys got on the board just before halftime when Keal Rasavage headed home a Collin McDaniel pass for a 1-0 lead. HSU put the game on ice when Nick Sager found David Salas for a goal. Austin White recorded the shutout in goal for the Cowboys. It was his fourth shutout of the season. HSU is now 9-5 on the year and 7-3 in conference play. --- HSU Athletics --- |
