ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team defeated Louisiana College 2-1 in American Southwest Conference action Saturday afternoon at the HSU Soccer Complex. Cody Oswald scored both goals for the Cowboys on assists by Grant Woods. The first came off a corner kick in the 17th minute and added another off a cross in the 54th minute. LC scored an Oscar Girou goal in the 76th minute. HSU dominated the game outshooting the Wildcats 21-2. The Cowboys are now 6-6-1 overall and 6-3-1 in league play. LC fell to 4-11-1 and 2-6-1 overall. HSU will play McMurry on Saturday at the HSU Soccer Complex. |
