Cowboy Soccer Falls To TLU, 5-1 :: Elza nets only goal

SEGUIN, Texas - Hardin-Simmons dropped a 5-1 decision to Texas Lutheran, Saturday afternoon in men's American Southwest Conference soccer action in Seguin.

Trevor Elza scored the Cowboys only goal in a game that saw the Cowboys trail just 1-0 at halftime. The win gives the Bulldogs a leg up on first-place in the ASC West, with HSU and McMurry battling for second-place and a berth in the conference tournament.

HSU is now 7-5-1 and 4-2-1 in league play, while the Bulldogs improved to 8-3-2 and 5-1 overall. The Cowboys host UTPB on Thursday at 7 p.m.
