Oct. 10, 2003 AUSTIN, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team remained undefeated in American Southwest Conference action with an 8-0 win over Concordia-Austin, Friday evening in Austin. The Cowboys' lone senior Jeff Brooks recorded a hat trick with three goals and David Salas and James Burton added two goals each. Bryan Staub added the Cowboys' other goal. The win improved the Cowboys to 5-0-1 in American Southwest Conference action and 9-2-1 overall. Concordia-Austin fell to 0-8, 0-5. HSU will try to remain undefeated in ASC West action when it plays at third-place Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday at 4 p.m. |
