TYLER, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to UT-Tyler, Saturday afternoon in American Southwest Conference action in Tyler. After a scoreless first half the Patriots struck quickly in the second half. Adam McAlpine scored at the 48:52 mark and :46 seconds later Taylor Robbins scored again for the Patriots. David Salas got the Cowboys on the board in the 89th minute with a goal on a penalty kick. UTT had 16 shots in the game and HSU managed 15. The Cowboys fell to 7-4-2 overall and 5-2-2 in ASC action. UT-Tyler fell to 8-2 overall and 5-2 in ASC action. |
