ABILENE, Texas - In a rematch of the 2005 American Southwest Conference final that Hardin-Simmons won, the University of Ozarks earned a matter of revenge with a 4-0 win over the Cowboys Saturday afternoon at the HSU Soccer Complex. Ozarks' Jason Caskey scored in the 23rd minute and Jared Gordon added a pair of goals one in the 40th minute and the other in the first minute of the second half. Ryan Skelly scored in the 60th minute. HSU had 18 shots and seven were on goal, but could not find the back of the net. The Cowboys fell to 8-4-0 and 6-2-0 in conference play. Ozarks improved to 8-4-1 and 5-2-0 in league play. |
