RICHARDSON, Texas - Hardin-Simmons and UT-Dallas played to a 3-3 draw in American Southwest Conference men's soccer action at UTD on Thursday night. The Cowboys jumped on the board at the 7:51 mark when Jorge Vega buried a penalty kick. Kevin White tied the game for UTD in the 13th minute. HSU regained the lead when Colt McKee chipped the keeper on a great pass from Jeff Schultz at the 39:18 mark. UTD wasted no time in the second half tying the game at 2-2 in the 47th minute on a Mazi Rabiee goal. Roberto Martinez put the Cowboys back on top 3-2 at the 62:44 mark. The Comets tied the game at the 66:56 mark when Mihai Cotet scored on a header. The Cowboys are now 5-4-1 on the year and 5-1-1 in league play. UTD is now 6-3-2 and 3-1-2 in ASC action. HSU plays at Ozarks on Saturday. |
