ABILENE, Texas - Alex Curry's goal in the 81st minute gave LeTourneau a 2-1 upset win over Hardin-Simmons in American Southwest Conference men's soccer action at Shelton Stadium on Saturday. The Cowboys fell behind 1-0 when Miguel Vallas scored for LeTourneau in the fourth minute of the game. Kris Noel tied it for HSU in the 41st minute. The game remained scoreless until Curry's goal in the 81st minute. HSU outshot LeTourneau 24-10 in the game, but Ian Todd held the Cowboys at bay with 18 saves. The loss was the Cowboys first in ASC play and dropped them to 7-3-1 overall and 5-1 in ASC action. LeTourneay improved to 6-6-1 overall and 2-4 in ASC action. |
