KERRVILLE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team won its fifth straight game with a 2-1 American Southwest Conference win over Schreiner, Saturday afternoon in Kerrville. Drew Meilinger got the Cowboys on the board in the seventh minute with a goal on an assist from David Salas. Trevor Elza added another in the 57th minute from Sam Billelo. Ryan Shaughnessy allowed just one goal as the Cowboys were outshot 17-13. HSU improved to 6-2-1 overall and 4-0 in ASC play. Schreiner fell to 4-5 overall and 2-2 in ASC play. |
