Hardin-Simmons' men's soccer team set the school record for goals in a game with a 14-0 win over Concordia-Austin, Saturday afternoon at Shelton Stadium in American Southwest Conference action.
Nick Sager led the Cowboy attack with four goals. Kyle Rampy, David Salas and Bentley Martin each had two goals for the Cowboys. Pancho Gloria, Daniel Arnold, Drew Meilinger and RJ Flores each had tallies for the Cowboys. HSU outshot the Tornados 44-0 in the game.
With the win the Cowboys improved to 3-2-1 on the year and 2-0 in ASC West play. Concordia fell to 0-2, 0-2. HSU hosts UT-Permian Basin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in Big Country Soccer Association Appreciation Day.
