BELTON, Texas - Hardin-Simmons'men's soccer team swept through Mary Hardin-Baylor 5-0 in American Southwest Conference Soccer action, Saturday afternoon in Belton. Chris Key scored on a Colt McKee assist in the 23rd minute and the Cowboys added four second-half goals in a 5-0 win over the Crusaders. Key added another goal in the 73rd minute. Drew Meilinger had a pair of goals and an assist and Link Scoggins scored a goal. Ryan Shaughnessy and Chase Turner split time in goal. HSU outhsot UMHB 14-10 in the game, but the Crusaders only had one shot on goal. The Cowboys moved to 4-1-1 on the year and 2-0 in league action. The Crusaders fell to 1-3-1 and 0-1-1. |
