ROUND ROCK, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' men's golf team fought the winds for three rounds and finished in 16th place at the West Regional Invitational Monday and Tuesday at the Teravista Golf Club in Round Rock.

Ryan Salinas led the Cowboys with an 80-74-78 - 232 finish that was good for a tie for sixth place. J.C. Eagle (247), Michael Weehunt (254), Davey Davis (267) and Chris Clifton (271) rounded out the Cowboy lineup.

Mary Hardin-Baylor won the event with a three round 919, which was 11 shots better than second-place Redlands and 84 shots better than the Cowboys. The Crusaders Dillon Gooch won medalist honors with a 227.
