SEGUIN, Texas - Hardin-Simmons shot another sub-300 round, but slipped to third place in the John Bohmann Memorial Men's Golf Invitational, Tuesday afternoon at the 7,008-yard, par-72 Chaparral Country Club in Seguin.

Texas Lutheran shot one stroke better than its blistering 284 from Monday with a 283 to run away with the team crown with a 567. Mary Hardin-Baylor shot a 288-295--583 and HSU tied for third with UT-Tyler at 287-299--586.

Texas Lutheran had the top two individuals with Alex Seydler shooting a 68-69--137 for the title and Michael Faterkowski shot a 68-70--138.

Chris Phillips led the Cowboys' effort with a 72-70--142 good for fourth place overall. Freshman Ryan Salinas shot a 70-77-147 and Aaron Shipley shot 72-75-147 to tie for 11th place.

Clint Wellhausen 74-77-151 and Michael Todd 73-79--152 rounded out the Cowboy lineup.
