The Parent Boosters received a big (11" x 14" card) thank you from the Coaches' wives for the "date night" for dinner out with babysitting (courtesy of the Football Sweethearts). We hope that they really have fun and enjoy the extra time with their husbands who give so much time to our boys!Tailgating Our host and organizer Jeff Lindley from DeLeon reports that we had around 40 high spirited Cowboy Supporters enjoy hamburgers with all the fixin's, sides, and some highly decorated HSU cupcakes before the UMHB game. Thanks, Jeff, for all of your hard work and for your great grilling on that giant BBQ grill. We had so much fun that everybody wants to "do it again" on October 20. Watch this space for an update on the plans prior to the 20th.Prayer Calendar Several of the parents were talking at the MC game and the idea for a Cowboys prayer calendar was hatched. We all are asked to pray for a specific area on a specific day this week.Monday - Offensive Line Tuesday - Defensive Line Wednesday - Receivers and backs Thursday - Linebackers and defensive backs Friday - Special teams and injured players |
