COMMERCE, Texas - Three Hardin-Simmons football players have been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America's Region VI Academic College Division All-District team as voted on by SIDs in the region.

Wide receiver Jared May, tight end Matt Moskosky and defensive end Levi Pate earned the honors. This year only one team was selected and Hardin-Simmons had the second most members on the team. Eastern New Mexico had five players honored.

May has a 3.65 GPA as an Education major. Moskosky is a 3.64 biology major and Pate is a 3.33 Education major. All three will go on to the national ballot for Academic All-American honors.

District VI is comprised of all Non-Division I teams in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas and Louisiana. A player has to have a 3.20 GPA and be a starter or significant contributor to the team to be nominated.
