ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' football team had seven players named to the ESPN The Magazine/College Sports Information Director's of America College Division All-District VI team that was voted on by the CoSIDA members in the district.

Four Cowboys were named to the first team, including offensive linemen Ryan Hunter, wide receiver ZaVious Robbins, defensive back Matt Warnasch and defensive linemen Adam Rogers.

Offensive lineman Jordan Daniel, cornerback Tim Chandler, and linebacker Jarryd Taylor were named to the second team.

HSU's total of seven players were the most of any school. The four first team selections will go on the ballot for All-American.

The college division of CoSIDA is teams in Division II, Division III and the NAIA and district VI includes teams from Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, New Mexico and Texas.
