Oct. 6, 2003 ABILENE, Texas - Rain and lightning have caused delays and cancellations of two sporting events hosted by Hardin-Simmons. The HSU Women's Fall Golf Classic has been delayed twice and while the golfers are back on the course, the teams will not finish the first round and will resume the action tomorrow with the rest of the first round and second round. Hardin-Simmons' junior varsity game with Cisco Junior College, scheduled for Monday evening, has been canceled due to a heavy amount of rain on the field in the last 24 hours. The game will not be made up. |
