Despite missing most of four games with an ankle injury, Jones was one of the most productive backs in the ASC last season. 2005: Ran for 656 yards on just 94 carries and scored nine touchdowns. He had over 100 yards in every game he had more than seven carries. Had 100-yard efforts vs. UW-Stevens Point (122), Louisiana College (103), McMurry (140) and Austin College (133). Had three touchdowns in the Austin College game. Took his first carry of the year 61 yards at UW-Stevens Point. 2004: Ran for 354 yards on 39 carries in 11 games for the Cowboys. Had a 71-yard run against Austin College and a 57-yard run against McMurry.
