ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons center Mardochee Jean, the American Southwest Conference men's basketball player of the year, continues to add awards to his impressive resume.

This time he was named to the D3hoops.com All-South Region second team. It is the second time in his career he has been named to the second team. Both times he has been behind Ben Strong of Guilford, who is the overwhelming favorite to be named Division III Player of the Year.

Jean averaged 15.8 points and 10.3 rebounds per game as the Cowboys went 15-12 on the year.
