ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' had three players honored by the American Southwest Conference as the postseason awards were announced by the conference office on Monday.

Zach Pickelman was named the ASC West freshman of the year and was also named honorable mention All-ASC West and to the ASC West All-Freshman team. Pickelman averaged 11.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.

Center Andre Washington was named to the all-freshman team and freshman forward Tanner Kudrna was named honorable mention All-ASC West. Washington averaged 7.6 points and a team-best 6.5 rebounds per outing. Kudrna averaged 11.8 points and had 50 3-pointers on the year.

The Cowboys were 7-18 on the year and improved their win total by two games from a year ago.
